Mr. Matteo Ciman is a member of the Institute of Service Science of the University of Geneva and works as an Assistant for the Quality of Life group. He completed his PhD at the University of Padua (Italy) in December 2015, and has defended his thesis in March 2016. He received his Bachelor Degree and Master Degree in Computer Science from the same university. His studies focused on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Wireless Networks and Multimedia Systems. His research interests include pervasive computing and healthcare as well as mobile sensing and mood assessment through smartphones. Mr. Ciman has been a Visiting Scholar in the QoL group along September 2014 – February 2015.
