Dr. Vadym Mozgovoy obtained his Ph.D. in Public Administration from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2021. He developed his Ph.D. thesis as a Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) research assistant at the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration (IDHEAP). In parallel with his doctoral program at IDHEAP, he completed certified training programs in Machine Learning, Programming, and Cloud Computing Foundations.
The doctoral thesis by Dr. Vadym Mozgovoy is called “Physiolytics at the Workplace: Longitudinal Evaluation of Organizational Effects at Swiss Public Administrations”. His doctoral research received the Best Paper Award at the Swiss Conference on Data Science in 2019 and the Best Doctoral Student Conference Paper Award at the Public and Non-Profit (PNP) Division of the Academy of Management (AOM) in 2021. Dr. Vadym Mozgovoy has also received the Award for the Excellence of his Ph.D. Thesis from the Faculty of Law, Criminal Justice, and Public Administration at the University of Lausanne in 2022. Since May 2022, he has been a Visiting Researcher at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), School of Business and Economics, Management and Organization Department.
Previously, he had completed a consecutive MSc program in Statistics with a methodological Master thesis in 2017 after obtaining a BSc in Business Administration at the University of Geneva.
Regarding applied research and business exposure, he worked as a junior statistician in biostatistics, epidemiology, and sales in an advisory firm providing consultancy to pharmaceutical multinationals in Geneva from 2013 to 2016.
