MSc. Jamshed Gill is from India. He has acquired an MSc in Bioinformatics from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark in 2018. His previous research experience from masters covers extensive know-how of genetics and usage of advanced analytics techniques in RNA-sequencing datasets to extract meaningful biological results. His current interests are in the context of understanding the relation of sleeping patterns on obesity, energy balance, and various metabolic disorders. He will be utilising the data from mobile apps, wearables and other sources to capture the sleep and stress cycles in understanding their correlation leading to metabolic disorders. The goal is to design, evaluate and operationalize a risk assessment model, that builds upon an individual’s lifestyle, and which can predict the health risks in the future and help in preventing the development of chronic illnesses.
