Software developer and PhD fellow — I take an entrepreneurial and scientific approach to software research, design, and development, working with algorithms, machine learning, and mobile applications.

I am a part of the Quality of Life technologies lab at the University of Copenhagen where I am a PhD fellow in computer science (ubiquitous computing) working on modelling behaviors by using the latest evidence in medicine and longitudinal health data.

Before this, in the industry, I worked as a software engineer in several companies, notably Alipes Capital (a hedge fund in the heart of Copenhagen) and Microsoft (the Microsoft Dynamics teams in Copenhagen) and as a software engineering intern at Amazon (platform team) in Iasi and Google (Google+ external APIs) in Mountain View.

In the startup world, I was the technical co-founder and lead software developer at Habitlab (mobile apps for behaviour change/habit management) and a data analyst and software developer at Steps (digital tools for mental health) in Copenhagen. I keep in touch with the startup world by serving as a technology-focused startup mentor for Venture Cup Denmark.

In academia, I completed a master in computer science at the University of Copenhagen and a bachelor in computer science with distinction at the University of Iași. Teaching experiences include assistant lecturer at the University of Copenhagen, teaching assistant at the IT University of Copenhagen and the University of Iași, and university student teacher at the Center of Excellence Iași.

In my free time, I help organize Frederiksberg Toastmasters, the largest and probably the best public speaking club in Denmark as well as support two other clubs: Toastmasters på Dansk and Amigos Toastmasters en Español.
