May 2026: “From Reactive to Prescriptive Healthcare: How SHIELD is Shaping Next-Generation Health Information Systems” Webinar

21 May 2026, 12:00 – 13:00 CEST, EU Project SHIELD Webinar open to public is titled “From Reactive to Prescriptive Healthcare: How SHIELD is Shaping Next-Generation Health Information Systems”.

Context: Health information systems (HIS) are at a turning point. Despite vast data availability, most digital infrastructures still operate reactively, capturing information after clinical events rather than enabling real‑time prevention and personalized intervention. This webinar introduces and explores how SHIELD initiative proposes a new paradigm: a secure, interoperable, and AI‑powered ecosystem capable of integrating multimodal data, supporting behavioral change, and delivering proactive clinical insights. In this 60‑minute session, we will examine the structural limitations of current HIS, the essential requirements for next‑generation solutions, and the transformative potential of SHIELD if upcoming clinical trials demonstrate its effectiveness. A multidisciplinary panel will share perspectives from clinical practice, data science, behavioral science, and digital health implementation.
