BIO

Stéphanie Battini is a Scientific Collaborator at the Quality of Life Technologies Lab, Institute of Service Science, University of Geneva, Switzerland. She holds a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences (metabolomics and HRMAS NMR spectroscopy applied to pancreatic cancer and hyperparathyroidism) from the University of Strasbourg (ICube laboratory, 2017), and has a background as a radiographer in medical imaging. Her doctoral work was awarded the Thesis Prize “Prix de Thèse de la Société de Biologie de Strasbourg (2017)”.

Before joining the QoL Lab, she spent six years as a postdoctoral researcher at EPFL’s Blue Brain Project, where she led the development of AstroVascPy, an open-source library for simulating neurovascular dynamics. She most recently worked as a Senior Biomedical Data Scientist at the University of Lausanne (Data Stewardship Biomed Unit).

Her research interests include computational neuroscience, metabolomics, digital health, medical imaging, and FAIR data / Open Science.
