Dr. Anna Ferrari has been a Senior Data Scientist at the Quality of Life Technologies Lab at the Institute of Service Science, University of Geneva, Switzerland, since August 2024. She obtained a B.Sc. in Statistics and in Mathematics at the University of Milano-Bicocca and a M.Sc. in Statistics at the Humboldt University of Berlin. She completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2020 at the University of Milano-Bicocca, focusing on Human Activity Recognition using Inertial Data acquired from wearable devices. During and after the Ph.D she was involved as a Data Scientist in several projects related to education, healthcare, climate change, and sport.
At the QoL Technologies Lab, she will focus on the development of algorithms leveraging wearable technologies to improve patient’s outcomes.
